Frozen Forms of Water
We have been learning about frozen forms of water. In doing so we compared icebergs and glaciers. We learned that:
Icebergs
- Are large pieces of ice that break off from glaciers
- Normally only show 10% above water
Glaciers
- Are frozen rivers of ice that move slowly
- Are formed by lots of snow
- Located near mountains, valleys and polar regions
We then took this information to make iceberg art!
