We began our new science unit and started off with an investigation to determine if plants need water and sunlight in order to survive. We planted two morning glory seeds (one brown and one tan). In one week, some students' seeds have sprouted up to 2 centimeters tall! Our next step will be to change the amount of sunlight and water certain plants receive in order to determine what plants need to survive.
